Welcome to the first
(Grey Bluesbreaker) Fan-Page!
what will happen on this page?
The transition from Marshall
JTM45 (white-backed panel, GZ34 rectifier, 5881 or KT66 valves, etc.)
to Marshall JTM100 and finally JMP 200/100/50 watters (gold-backed control
panel, solid state rectifier, EL34 valves, KT88...) arrived only in
pieces in 1966/67. This period is often referred to the most favoured
Marshall-time, accompanied by the most nebulous dating time for collector's
items. I am constructing a database of the golden Marshall Plexi-era
(1966 and earlier, until 1969).
